A year after meeting each other at The Carol Club in New York City, John and Eileen married on October 11, 1952. Six children, 21 grandchildren later, John and Eileen are still in love. The Nelsons enjoyed their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends at The Regency at Glen Cove, where they have been residing for the last few years.
