Beth was recently awarded the Pinnacle Award for Corporate Excellence by the Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce at its Annual Gala.

Dr. Judith Rothberg brought up many key issues with Assisted Living, including some of the following questions:
• What is Assisted Living?
• What is the name of your residence and do you accept insurance?
• What do the residents do for social activities to keep busy?
• What is included in the monthly rate for your assisted living facility?
• What is your role as executive director at The Regency Assisted Living?
• How much does this cost (for your different suite accommodations)?
• How do you accommodate residents that need additional assistance or services (dressing, bathing, mobility, medication management)?
• How often do doctors come to The Regency, and what kind of doctors do you have coming?
• What happens if there is an emergency in the middle of the night?
• What about Thanksgiving, Christmas and other traditional religious, Christian or Jewish holidays?
• Do you offer a short-term or respite stay program?
• What activities do you offer for residents outside of The Regency?
• What do you find to be one of the most important areas of concern or difficulties experienced among residents in an assisted living facility?
• What makes The Regency Assisted Living different from other senior communities?
• What kind of programs or benefits do you offer for veterans or spouses of veterans?
• What about people who are already ill? What does that indicate when they go to an assisted living facility?
• Who does all the paperwork that needs to be submitted for the various programs, medical assistance and health care services?
• Who runs the exercise program, pilates and yoga classes at The Regency?
• Do you have bands, music or musicians to pep up people's moods in a place where there is a higher risk of mood swings and mood disorders?
