JayCee with Regency residents and guests from the Happy Hours Club

On September 8th, JayCee Driesen, appeared at The Regency to entertain Regency residents and invited guests from the Golden Age Happy Hours Club of the Glen Cove Senior Center.
JayCee a singer, songwriter and producer from Long Island has become a favorite of Regency residents. Her bold signature voice captivates her audience whether she is performing classic standards, hit Broadway show tunes, contemporary favorites or her own originals. From the famed Lincoln Center and Concert venues to singing our National Anthem in sports arenas, JayCee has delighted audiences around the nation. On this occasion JayCee performed hits from Classic Vegas entertainers like Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Celine Dion. She was amazing!
Residents and their guests had a lovely afternoon filled with laughs, good conversation and dessert. The Golden Age Happy Hours Club has been an active part of the Glen Cove Senior Center for over twenty years. This group provides additional opportunities for members to enjoy entertainment, trips, lectures and socialization. Charlie Pappas is the President and Lucy Van Horn has been his assistant since retiring as Activities Coordinator at the Glen Cove Senior Center.
