Each year, the Glen Cove Youth Bureau, in collaboration with the Friends of the Glen Cove Youth Board collects school supplies for disadvantaged children in the Glen Cove School District. The supplies and monetary donations are collected from organizations, businesses and individuals throughout the summer and distributed just as the new school year begins. This year, the Youth Bureau was able to assist close to 200 students with their back to school supplies.
Staff and residents of The Regency are always willing to help needy families and students in Glen Cove. As they have done in the past, they generously donated to the Back to School Drive.
