The Regency celebrates National Assisted Living Week

September 7th – 13th 2014
National Assisted Living WeekEstablished by The National Center for Assisted Living in 1995, National Assisted Living Week provides a unique opportunity for residents, families, staff, volunteers and the surrounding community to come together to share with our residents a variety of events and activities that show them how much we care for them. “The Magic of Music” was the theme selected for 2014. This theme showcases the integral role that music plays in assisted living residences every day. The transformational effect of music continues as individuals age and can provide joy, comfort and in some cases, memories long ago experienced. At The Regency we will be celebrating National Assisted Living Week with fun and interactive games, activities and performances throughout the week. Residents will be sweating to the oldies and playing name that tune. They will also be singing along with patriotic music, boogeying the afternoon away at a Disco Fever Party and listening to the sweet sounds of Albert Mulad’s violin. We are all looking forward to a super fun week!
