On Thursday, July 25^th the residents of The Regency at Glen Cove threw their energetic Recreation Director, Erica Kyriakopoulos, a surprise wedding shower.  Erica has been a part of The Regency family since 2001, and the Recreation Director for the past 7 years.  Erica married  Joe Ferrara on a beautiful day at The View in Oakdale on July 29^th.
As Recreation Director, Erica is always planning so many fun events for her residents, from trips to the theatre to booking amazing performers and educational speakers, she does it all!  So the residents at The Regency were so excited to finally be able to plan a very special event FOR HER!  Erica was truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of emotions from so many of her special friends and all of the work that went into planning her shower.  The living room looked beautiful, the cake was delicious and everyone enjoyed seeing her open the many beautiful gifts she was given by both residents and her fellow staff members.
Erica said, “It feels wonderful that I was able to share such a special piece of my life.  It is really like having 100 Grandparents!”
