Elvis Lives!

On January 8th, the King of Rock n’ Roll, Elvis Presley, would have been 81 years old. In honor of this occasion The Regency celebrated “Elvis Presley Day”. Residents played Hound Dog Poker and ELVIS Bingo and exercised to “All Shook Up”. They also participated in Elvis trivia and learned about Elvis’ life and how he changed the face of Rock n Roll. The day culminated with a rousing performance by an Elvis impersonator who sang some of the King’s hits like “Jailhouse Rock” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love”, along with songs by other artists like Neil Diamond, Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra. Everyone also enjoyed snacking on some tasty hors d’oeuvres and Blue Hawaiian drinks. A fun and nostalgic time was had by all!
