“Count your age by friends, not years. Count your life by smiles, not tears.”
— John Lennon
The Regency Senior Living was honored to celebrate a truly remarkable milestone as our beloved resident, Mei Fleischer, celebrated her 103rd birthday in style!
A cherished member of our Safe Harbor Memory Care family for the past five years, Mei continues to inspire everyone around her with her grace, warmth, and timeless sense of style. A former ballerina, she has spent her life sharing her love of dance, people, and joy with everyone she meets.
Mei’s special day was made even more meaningful as she celebrated with her beautiful daughter, Rona, her son-in-law, Bruno, and two dear family friends who are like daughters to her, Kathleen and Jane. Their love and devotion made the celebration one to remember.
Born in Japan, Mei’s heritage was woven into the festivities as residents, families, and staff gathered to dance, laugh, reminisce, and even sing “Happy Birthday” in Japanese—a touching tribute that brought smiles to everyone in the room.
At 103 years young, Mei reminds us that elegance never goes out of style and that a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections is the greatest gift of all.
Thank you to the Fleischer Family for treating the entire community to Sushi and Japanese luncheon! It was delicious!
Mei, thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with all of us. We adore you and are so grateful that you call The Regency Senior Living home. Happy 103rd Birthday!
