Robert J. Kurre, Esq. Holds Estate Planning Seminar at The RegencyOn Wednesday, June 18th, Robert J. Kurre, Esq. of Kurre Levy Shneps LLP held an informative seminar at The Regency Assisted Living called, “10 Costly Mistakes To Avoid When Setting Up Your Estate Plan”. This information is vital because these mistakes can have devastating financial consequences, decimate life-long savings, and cause litigation among family members. Some of the topics covered included: how to properly leave assets to your spouse, children, or other heirs, the importance of having a properly drafted Power of Attorney and how to keep the courts out of your private affairs. The seminar was a great success with over 65 attendees. Mr. Kurre took the time afterwards, as he always does, to answer any and all questions.
Mr. Kurre is certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation and a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association’s Elder Law Section. Additionally, he is a past chairman of the Elder Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association. He is a frequent lecturer, instructor and published author in the field of elder law and estate planning and is a long-time friend of The Regency. The Regency would like to thank Mr. Kurre for another outstanding presentation and looks forward to hosting him again in the fall.
