One of the best parts of life at The Regency is being able to become a part of the incredible Glen Cove community. Glen Cove has something for everyone. It offers magnificent beaches, a scenic golf course and lovely tree-filled parks, providing Regency residents with a summer vacation paradise right in their own backyards.
Right on School Street there is so much to do! Residents can take advantage of dining al fresco at outstanding restaurants such as La Famiglia, American Café, La Bussola and the Downtown Café. And Autostrade Glen Cove showcases exotic and vintage cars every other Thursday evening in July and August beginning July 2^nd through September 3^rd from 6 pm to 9 pm on School Street. Car fans are invited to show or admire the estimated 170 vehicles on display. And of course the JJ Glen Cove Cinemas is always a great place to escape the heat and catch the latest summer blockbuster.
Glen Cove’s beautiful Morgan Park and Pryibil Beaches are staffed 7 days a week throughout the summer and for all golf enthusiasts the Glen Cove Golf Club offers 18 holes with a beautiful view of Long Island Sound. After a round you can head over for a bite at The View Grill. Chef Jeanine DiMenna, well known for her outstanding cuisine at Page One Restaurant, is now The View’s Head Chef and Owner. Her signature dishes, innovative menu and delightful ambiance make for an absolutely incredible dining experience.
And if music is your thing don’t miss the Downtown BID’s Downtown Sounds 2015, live music every Friday night at 7:30 pm throughout July and August right in Village Square. And the Morgan Park Summer Music Festival takes place every Sunday in July and August. Both of these concert series are free and open to everyone.
