In 2011, Residents David and Babette Cohen moved into The Regency living every to the fullest. Yesterday, we celebrated Babette's 100th Birthday. Her son, Gary, shared Babette's beautiful life story and how full in actually was when she was working, traveling, playing tennis all while madly in love with David- who passed away in 2014. Mayor Pam and the standing room only audience celebrated Babette while listening to a performer sing her favorite Frank Sinatra hits.
A self-proclaimed tomboy that turned into a fashionista still loves to dress up! We can’t wait to see what Babette will wear to her Birthday Party hosted by her sons at her family birthday soiree tomorrow! Thank you to 102 year old Regency Resident, Edith Gold, for welcoming Babette into the 100+ Regency Club! Edith’s gave Babette advice: “Have fun and keep truckin’!” You look beautiful as ever Babette and we know that you will “keep truckin”, too! Happy Birthday!
